NitroShare is a cross-platform tool for sharing files across a local network. After completing the setup wizard, NitroShare discovers other machines on the network running the tool and enables you to send files to them using the application indicator or small widgets on the desktop.
Starting with Ubuntu 12.04 the ‘Startup Applications' manager now only displays a sub-set of applications to control at startup with the remaining applications being hidden. To make the hidden applications visible in the manager, follow these steps:
